The IDF hit Iran's missile and sea mine production site in Yazd, targeting key regime infrastructure across the country, including Tehran and Isfahan, as part of ongoing operations.
The IDF hit Iran's central site for producing missiles and sea mines in Yazd during an operation, the military confirmed on Friday morning.
The site was used to plan, develop, assemble, and store advanced missiles that could be launched from cruise platforms, submarines, and helicopters against mobile and stationary maritime targets, the IDF stated, adding that this site was where the Iranian Navy developed the majority of its missiles and sea mines.
Earlier on Friday, a separate IDF statement confirmed that the military struck ballistic missiles and aerial defense systems production sites across Iran during the overnight hours.
Within Tehran, the military struck sites and infrastructure that were used by the Iranian regime to produce weapons, including ballistic missiles.
In western Iran, the Israel Air Force used IDF intelligence to locate and strike various terror regime targets, including missile launchers and missile storage sites that were threatening Israel.
The IAF has dropped nearly 15,000 munitions on targets in Iran since Operation Roaring Lion began on February 28, which rises to over 25,000 munitions when combined with the US's actions during the concurrent Operation Epic Fury.
Meanwhile, Iranian reports claim that one target struck within Iran was the residence of Hassan Karami's father. Karami is a senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officer and a former regime police officer in charge of the police's "Special Units," which gained Western notoriety for using lethal force during the suppression of anti-government protesters in 2019.

Defense Minister Katz warns of intensified strikes against Iranian regime
Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that strikes on Iran will escalate and expand to additional "targets and domains" that assist the Islamic Regime in building and operating weapons against civilians.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and I warned the Iranian terrorist regime to stop firing missiles at the civilian population in Israel," Katz said.
"Despite our warnings, the firing continued, and therefore, the IDF's attacks on Iran will escalate and expand to additional targets and areas that assist the regime in building and operating the means of warfare against the citizens of Israel," he threatened.
